Measures adopted starting with May 15, 2020, in the context of the epidemiological situation determined by the spread of SARS-CoV 2 coronavirus:

  • the granting of the unemployment indemnities provided by art. XI and art. XV of GEO no. 30/2020 is extended for the period between the termination of the state of emergency and May 31, 2020, with the possibility of continuing after this date only in the areas where the restrictions will be maintained;
  • for the current year the number of  paid leave days granted to one of the parents for the care of the children during suspension of the
    educational activity is established until the end of the courses of the school year 2019-2020;
  • employers with more than 50 employees have the obligation to establish individualized work programs, without the employee’s consent, so that between employees to ensure the existence of an hour interval at the beginning and end of the work program, in an interval of three hours, by addendum to the individual employment contract;
  • insured person for holidays and health insurance benefits in the social health insurance system, who are prohibited from continuing their activity and for whom the quarantine measure was instituted as a result of a suspicion of COVID-19 infection, benefit from leave and allowances for quarantine, regardless of place in which it is established, for a period and on the basis of the documents provided by order of the Minister of Health. Medical leave certificates are issued by family doctors after the last day of the quarantine period, but not later than 30 calendar days from the date of the end of the quarantine period;
  • For persons who at the date of entry into force of the emergency ordinance are on parental leave and childcare leave, or on accommodation for children entrusted for adoption, the granting of rights is extended until May 31, 2020 ;
  • For persons who, on the date of entry into force of this emergency ordinance, are on parental leave, the insertion incentive is granted from the date of submission of the application, if they are subject to income tax, until the child reaches the age of 3 years, respectively 4 years, in the case of the disabled child;  For persons who on the date of entry into force of this emergency ordinance are on parental leave the measure does not apply if between May 31, 2020 and the date on which the child turns 2 years, respectively 3 years is less than 3 months;
  • The deadline for issuing the emergency certificates, upon request, to economic operators whose activity is affected in the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic during the state of emergency is extended until June 15, 2020.
