As we are used for years… most probably Santa Claus is bringing new inspiration and is converting the last week of December in the most prolific period in emergency government ordinances…
Thus, Romanian Government declares as priority for future development the sector Constructions for the period 2019-2028.
Based on this assumption, the incomes from salaries of employees working in companies active in Constructions field of activities are exempted from tax on income. Also, these employees will be considered covered by health insurance, even they will be exempted from health tax as well. The related pensions contributions for this category of workers will be reduced as well by 3.75%.
Consequently, the construction sector will benefit of reduction of tax burden by approximately 25%.
Will this lead to returning home of Romanian workers in constructions, as many of them work abroad?! Will this lead to decrease of price of constructions, residential or office buildings?!
Will this help in elections by higher number of votes?!
When the education and the health system will become priority for us?!
We still look forward for fair taxation for the rest of us…: teachers, doctors, finance, tax and accounting professionals, lawyers, agriculture specialists, other engineers than IT and constructions, and why not bakers, barbers, cashiers, cleaners, couriers, tailors and waiters…or maybe to think and act for „adjustment” of our tax hat …
